Paths, Portals and Seating

A garden does well to seduce its mistress with well considered paths, doorways and sitting areas. My garden surprises me every time I walk its paths. It delights me and soothes me every time I take one of its pleasant seats. Here is the April 18 view from the blues corner. Flagstone goes under steel arbors, and into river rock, which winds like an eddy around the fountain. Persephone is in residence, next to her portal she shares with goldfish and frogs. In the distance, on the left, the door to the woodland leading to yet another part of the garden, is just visible, but its path cannot yet be seen.

The photo on the right is the view looking from the foot of Persephone toward the Blues Corner. LL exams the river rock.
